Bound in obedience to 1 Timothy 2:12, I know the route of preaching is not for me but I clearly know that I need to share my relationship to the Lord and my life's testimony.
As an artist, I cannot think of any way but use my gift of creativity in all the things that I design. You may check my new t-shirt design here.
And this is possible.
Any gifts that you have, you can offer it back as a service to the Lord.
Here are faithful, practical ways you can obey Mark 16:15 through your art, right where you are:
1. Create Art that Points to the Gospel
🔹 Paint, draw, design, or letter Scripture, truths about God’s character, or redemptive themes (light, hope, grace).
🔹 Let your art “preach” in colors and forms where your voice may not reach.
Your canvas can be a pulpit.
2. Share Your Art Online with a Kingdom Mindset
🔹 Use social platforms not just to showcase beauty—but to point to the Source of beauty.
🔹 Include faith-filled captions, verses, or short prayers alongside your pieces.
🔹 Post consistently—not for popularity, but for planting seeds.
3. Use Your Art to Encourage Other Moms
🔹 Make prints, cards, or devotionals that speak to moms in their tired, quiet places.
🔹 Your art can minister to someone scrolling in tears or standing at the sink.
The gospel isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s quiet hope on a 5x7 print.
4. Bring Your Kids Along in the Mission
🔹 Let your children see you create for God’s glory.
🔹 Involve them: pray before painting, talk about the message behind the piece.
🔹 Let your life preach the gospel to the “little world” inside your home.
5. Sell or Gift Art That Sows Spiritual Seeds
🔹 Offer meaningful pieces at local markets, churches, or online stores like Etsy or Zazzle.
🔹 Include Scripture tags, testimony cards, or prayer cards with each piece.
6. Support Gospel-Centered Causes with Your Art
🔹 Donate a portion of proceeds to missions, crisis pregnancy centers, or ministries.
🔹 Create art specifically to raise awareness for gospel-aligned missions.
7. Let Your Obedience Be the Art
🔹 Sometimes, the way you balance motherhood, work, and creativity becomes the testimony.
🔹 Live with grace, faith, and joy—and others will ask where your strength comes from.
Preaching the gospel as a mom-artist doesn’t always mean “speaking”—it means reflecting Jesus in every detail.
Final Encouragement
You don’t need a stage or a mic. Your home, your sketchpad, your IG post, your bedtime routine, your worn-out prayer—these are your mission fields.
Create for the King. Preach through beauty. Be faithful where your feet are.
